Watch French YouTube channels to learn French

YouTube is such a rich source of material to learn French! Find some French Youtubers that talk about something you are interested in and follow them! You will learn so much faster if you are having fun! You love fashion? Look for a French fashion Youtuber. You love travels? Look for a French travel Youtuber…. You get the idea.

A few tips:

• Turn on the subtitles when they are available.
• Change the video speed if you feel it is too fast.
• Watch a same video or a same passage several times for a better understanding.
• Don’t worry if you can’t undersand everything, it is totally normal! Let your ears get used to the music of the French language. With time you will understand better and better.

Cyprien and Norman are two very popular French YouTubeurs. They both have above one million followers. Their videos are very funny and talk about everyday situations. I highly recommend them.

Do not miss these two history channels if you are interested in French history. You will learn about the Sun King and Versailles, Marie-Antoinette, the castles of the Loire valley.

If you have a doubt about a French grammar point or a French expression, go to one og these channels. Pierre (from Français avec Pierre) makes videos in French, speaking very slowly so that you can understand him no matter what your level is.
